# Local development

Create a virtual environment, copy `.env.example` to `.env`, then install the dependency set for the service you are working on.

```powershell
pip install -r requirements/gateway.txt
uvicorn enterprise_ai.main:app --app-dir src --reload --port 8006
```

Run the chatbot separately only when needed:

```powershell
pip install -r requirements/chatbot.txt
uvicorn services.chatbot.main:app --reload --port 8007
```

Operational scripts are deliberately outside application packages:

```powershell
python scripts/generate_token.py
python scripts/seed_generate_profile.py
```
