# Legal placeholder documents — NOT real legal content

The two files in this folder (`TOS-PLACEHOLDER-v1.txt`, `PRIVACYPOLICY-PLACEHOLDER-v1.txt`) are
**lorem-ipsum filler text**, seeded so the Legal/Contract Agreement Consent mechanism (tracker
§50/§51, `EntitlementBLL.Legal`) can be wired end-to-end and exercised before real, legally
reviewed content exists.

**Do not treat either file as real Terms of Service or a real Privacy Policy.** Neither has been
reviewed by counsel, neither reflects GoodBooks' actual commercial terms, and neither should ever
be shown to a real prospect/customer as if it were binding. §50.2's own document-sufficiency
analysis (canonical ToS version, a real Privacy Policy, jurisdiction addenda) is still open and
requires qualified legal counsel — this placeholder content does not resolve that, it only lets
the *mechanism* (fetch applicable versions → show → record acceptance) be tested.

Seeded via `DB/Migrations/20260904_Entitlement_Agreement_PlaceholderContent_Seed_{SqlServer,Postgres}.sql`
as `MAGREEMENTVERSION.ContentRef` — a relative path into this folder, mirroring how a real
`TATTACHMENT` reference would eventually replace it once real content and a real upload flow
exist (see `IAgreementAuthoringBLL`'s own doc comments).

**Before going live**: delete this folder, delete the placeholder seed migration's rows (or mark
them `Retired`), and replace with real, counsel-reviewed content published through the real
authoring flow (`EnsureTypeAsync` → `CreateDraftVersionAsync` → `PublishVersionAsync`).
